Procrastination is the practice of carrying out less urgent tasks in preference to more urgent ones, or doing more pleasurable things in place of less pleasurable ones, and thus putting off impending tasks to a later time, sometimes to the "last minute" before a deadline.
I wrote the title for this piece three weeks ago.
So, it’s Friday night. Work week over. Tomorrow I get to write my own material. I’m super excited. I know exactly where I want to start…
We all joined this site, more or less for this reason, to get feedback on our art. The whole point of submitting art online is for people to see it and hear what they think about it.
Now there are a lot of deviants out there who get little to no feedback and as a result ask the people who faved their art to comment or go to random people on dA and ask for them to look at their art or comment in the hopes that the person will be kind enough to return the favor.
A message to the people who do that, you're doing it all wrong.
Sure, if you ask 20 people who faved your drawing what they thought about it, you might get 1 or 2 answers, but in r

Disney’s Academy Award Winning Big Hero 6 pushed the boundaries of realistic animated storytelling with Hyperion, the new software developed specifically for the film.
It simulates the physics of light, creating a more lifelike environment. Hyperion allowed the Big Hero 6 team to capture the air and light of San Francisco in a way never before possible and the spectacular results are visible in the movie’s breathtaking aerial sequences.

Dear, deviantart fellow artists
Hi :) - so I'm starting new series of journals with useful resources - mainly because I'm running out of topics to write about and I just like some diversity. (I'll continue to post general art/motivational journals too every now and then)
Here are some of my favorite youtube artists, that inspire me and I hope that these resources might be helpful for you too.

One of the things I mentioned in my journal about social interaction was that you should only watch a person on DeviantArt when you were genuinely interested. While that states the obvious, the statement sort of backlashed on me, and many people called me a hypocrite for saying the above thing, because I've been advertising my profile at dAhub (https://www.deviantart.com/dahub) and apparently that's one of those things you shouldn't do.
However, I wouldn't be me if I didn't think of this as bullshit.
I've been calling this whole "marketing is evil" statement on DA utter nonsense before, and I will do it again. Because it actually is. It makes completely no sense to be on
Our of curiosity, I wrote this script that makes a graph of a deviant's watcher gain over time, starting with the day the deviant gained his/her first watch.
My graph spans about two years and looks like this:
Interestingly enough, it turns out that the largest peaks correlate not with the days when I received a DD, but with the days when I wrote PE articles and landed in the footer. The DD's led to small peaks, but they are surprisingly hardly noticeable in the graph.
Anyways, thought I'd share since it's pretty interesting to see what your graph comes out to be. :la: All you have to do is go to the page linked above and enter your userna
